New Release: Shy Boy Remix

It’s been just over 2 years since I posted any new music here at Phono Phunk. Time flies when you lack inspiration! Well, luckily for me, Jeff Tyler hooked up a remix job a few months ago. This forced me to get back into the “music” thing again. After such a huge break, my skill set was very rusty and I think it really shows. I’m not crazy about the end result (the mix is pretty horrid) and since the job has kind of fallen through, I decided I’d upload it here. I’m not sure if anything will ever happen with this track at some point in the future.
- Shy Boy Remix – First remix in over 2 years. Collaboration between me and Jeff Tyler. Cheesy, commercial-ish vocal house.

Hey, nice job on the fnky.com site. Funny, I can relate to your ‘rusty’ reference regarding music. I’ve been mixing and learning to produce for the last few years until taking a ’sabatical’ that hasn’t seemed to end. I miss it but can’t seem to make the time for it.

btw, it’s not a bad mix. it’ll work for cheezy situations (which occur often enough, especially in lovey-dovey house gigs)

Probably the best tune on this site. Very nice!
Ive just broke out of the speed garage scene and mooved into something more soulful and funky and a bit downtempo that sounds clean and crisp, this is definatly what im looking for.
I think your tracks might have to get a little purchase ;)
