Holy Shit the Big Three Oh
23 Sep 2005 10:29 PM
I just turned 30.
I still feel like a teenager.
I keep thinking, “What am I doing with my life?”
I keep hearing, “It’s all downhill from here.”
Strange thing is, I’m happier now than I’ve ever been before.
Life is good.

Hi - Let me tell you: Life starts with 30 !!! Forget everything negative you hear about 30 or getting older. Women get more mature - you start to understand Life as it is - money starts rolling in. Getting 30 is like liberation !!! Very nice page. Thomas

Your life just started mate. That ShyBoy track is wicked….one thing I like about your music are those funky bass tracks…..do you play those bass riffs ???

Carlo, sometimes I record my bass and other times I program the bass lines. It depends on the tracks :)

Cheers! You’ll discover that the thirties are the best - that fear you may have had won’t set in until you’ve hit the phat-four-oh.

Been there done that. Turning 30 + 2 this March. Still playing shoot-’m'-up games, building with LEGO’s. Planning to get my Märklin Z track up from the basement.
Got married in August, the best thing I ever did. After living together for 7 years…. Funny thing is I don’t think I ever grow up, but I’m never going to buy a set of baggypants……..

Happy Birthday! I was happy for much of my 30th year. 31 was tough, but I went through a lot of maturing. I like where I’m at in life. I know you’re in for good stuff. Enjoy the ride!

Congrats, I’ll turning 30 on 28th April. And I feel like a teenager too… it let me be creative and tolerant! If you become 30 in my hometown and you still a bachelor, you have to clean the place in front of the town hall until you’ll be kissed by a virgin… ^^ but it’s quite difficult to find a virgin over 12 *lol*

Keep your head up. My life began to improve dramatically at 30. Not that it sucked so much before that but the last 6 years have been a lot better…so it’s at least possible. And I was a mad hedonist in my 20s so it’s not like I was coming out of a shell. Life is what you make of it, for the most part.
I generally still feel like a teenager too self-image wise…until I take the time to remember what being a teenager was really like…ay caramba!
Been checking your site regularly since I found the style-sheet importer trick here awhile ago. Thanks for that (yes I credit you ;o).

Happy Birthday, man. I turned 30 just a few months ago, so I can relate. I also use the Typo theme you made (called Phokus), and I like it a lot so thanks for sharing that with the world.

Hi John, sorry about stealing your design, and all trouble it may have caused.. Anyway, my website should all be free from your code & images etc by now, even that little star-thingy. Everything’s erased now exept from the inspiration I got from your site!

The main people telling you that are under 30, right? :-) (I don’t know you, but saw this thread and had to respond .. I just turned 50 and feel like you do).
When asked “when are you going to grow up?” my stock response is “Why?” :-)
